U
Unassigned Call   An Unassigned Call is a call that has a Status of “Open”, and a blank Employee field.  In
other words, an Unassigned Call is due but has not yet been assigned to an employee.  Service calls can be
scheduled far in advance of the date received and will be transferred automatically to Unassigned Calls from
Future Calls based upon your company’s Setup parameters.
Unscheduled Call   An Unscheduled Call is a call that (1) does not have a Date Due entered; and (2) has a
Status of “Open”.  Unscheduled Calls can be created manually by you or automatically by the system.  When you
use the system to automatically create preventive maintenance contract calls, these calls will appear as
Unscheduled Calls.

Warranties List   A list of all warranties (current and expired) on equipment that you have installed.  This list
can be accessed by clicking the Warranties button on the Main Control form.  Double-clicking on any line in the
list will open the Equipment/Warranties form for that record.
Workstation Version   HVAC Office is available in two versions.  The “Workstation” version is used on a
network when two or more computers are running HVAC Office.  One computer (the server) must be running the
“Server” version of HVAC Office.  All other computers should run the Workstation version.
