Jobsite Form This form may be accessed via the Customers or Jobsites buttons on the Main Control form.
The top section of the Jobsite form contains general information about the jobsite (address, occupant, etc.), and the
bottom section contains a list of equipment installed (including warranty information) at that jobsite.

List By clicking any button on the Main Control form (other than Customers and Jobsites), a list will appear. For
example, by clicking the Installations button, a list of Active Installations will appear. The system also produces
other lists (such as the list of jobsites at the bottom of the Customer form). Generally, in order to obtain additional
information on any item in a list, simply double-click on it.

Maintenance Contracts Form This form is accessed via the Jobsite form and contains specific information
regarding seasonal and recurring preventive maintenance contracts.
Menu Bar The menu bar gives you access to system commands and functions, and is located along the top-left
of your screen. It includes File, Edit, Setup, Options and Help.
Messaging The system includes the ability for employees to communicate with each other via internal electronic
messaging. Click the buttons on the toolbar to veiw received messages or send new messages.
Mouse A device used to communicate with the computer. To use the mouse. you hold it in your hand and move
it across a flat surface. To click, press the left mouse button once. To double-click, press the left mouse
button twice in rapid succession. The mouse pointer is the arrow or I-beam on your screen that moves as you
move the mouse.

Network A computer network is comprised of two or more computers that are connected to each other in order
to share information and devices such as printers. A network requires both hardware, including network adapter
cards and cabling, and software. Networking software is available from many companies. However, for HVAC
Office, we recommend Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Windows 95, or Windows NT. If you run one
of these versions of Windows, no additional software is required to create a network.
Next Scheduled Service Call A one-time service call or an annual service call for a jobsite for some time in
the future. Use this to remind your office of customers filter maintenance, future sales visits, etc.
