G-2   Glossary
Credit   This button on the Customer form checks for any outstanding payments due from the selected customer
(optional Accounts Receivable Module required).
Customer Form   This form is accessed via the Customers button on the Main Control form.  The top section of
the Customer form contains the customer’s name, telephone number, address, and other unique information, and
the bottom section contains a list of the customer’s jobsites.

Dialog Box   A window that presents a list of options from which you must choose to determine how the
operation will proceed.
Diary   The system contains a diary which can be used to justify vehicle expenses (within the company or to the
IRS) and to track any other information that you wish to enter on a daily or periodic basis.  To access this function,
click the Diary button on the toolbar.
Dispatched Call  A Dispatched Call is a service or installation call that has (1) been assigned to an employee;
(2) a dispatched date/time; and (3) a Status of “Open.”

Drop-Down List   To the right of many data fields, there is a “down-arrow.”  By clicking this arrow, a list that
you created as a part of your Setup procedure will appear.  To select an item from the list, simply click on it.  This
feature ensures data entry consistency and saves time.
E
E-Mail  HVAC Office, Quantrac 2000 has the ability to email via the World Wide Web. Specific documents,
reports, internal messaging, etc. have the ability to be directly emailed to any recipient using your computer’s email
program and connection to the Internet. 
Equipment   A list of all equipment in inventory, on order, or installed by your company can be accessed by
clicking the Equipment button on the Main Control form.  Double-clicking on any line in the list will open the
Equipment/Warranties form for that jobsite.
Equipment/Warranties Form  
The top section of this form contains a list of zones at a particular jobsite.  The
second section contains a list of equipment installed by your company (including warranty information), and the
third section contains a list of equipment installed by others.  The bottom section contains a detailed description of
filters at this jobsite.
