To exit Quantrac
Click the “Exit” button on the toolbar. This stops the program operation and clears it from your Windows task list.
You may then shutdown the computer if you wish. We recommend that you always exit Quantrac before
shutting down or turning off your computer.
Notes:
1.
You do not have to log off in order to exit from Quantrac 2005.
2.
You do not have to exit from Quantrac to switch to other tasks. See your Windows Operation Guide for
help learning how to switch from active task to task.
3.
Many customers leave their computers on 24 hrs per day, only turning their monitors off at the end of the day.
This has proven to be a more reliable method of system operation.
4.
When you do turn off your computer, it is always a good idea to exit all programs, exit Windows, and then turn
off the power to your machine.
5.
An Un-interruptible Power Supply system is a very good investment for your business computers. It will
protect your system from partial or short-duration power outages, which could harm your computers or your
valuable database. Our clients that do not have un-interruptible power supplies on each computer have many
more system problems than those with that equipment. UPS devices are very inexpensive, costing less than
$200.00.
